AnyLogic is great for quickly building ad-hoc models of real factories, thanks to its intuitive drag-and-drop setup and the Material Handling Library. However, any change in your real system requires manual rework of your model. Often, this is not practical.

This webinar will demonstrate how you can create a self-configuring model using the Material Handling Library.

We will create a model where all components are created directly from simple input data. On startup, the model will load all elements (conveyors, transporters, machines…) from the data, connect all elements and let products be manufactured. This is achieved with little coding, using standard AnyLogic capabilities such as agent populations and flow-chart blocks.

With such a setup, you can create true digital twins as your model will always reflect your current data reality, without further manual refinements.
