The Winter Simulation Conference (WSC) is the premier international forum for disseminating recent advances in the field of system simulation. AnyLogic has been a staple at WSC since the year 2000, and remain the only multi-method modeling - and truly agent-based, commercial simulation and modeling software. AnyLogic's presence at WinterSim was robust as usual, spanning from vendor workshops, case study tracks, academic presentations, and networking events.
Vendor Workshop:
At the two-hour AnyLogic Vendor Workshop on Sunday, Arash Mahdavi, Simulation & Modeling Consultant at AnyLogic North America presented some unique AnyLogic capabilities. His presentation included example multi-method models, the new built-in database feature, and "how-to" instructions for connecting with external applications ®. The modified PowerPoint (includes additional links and references), example model source code, and supplemental material are now available.
