Hello devoted AnyLogic modelers!
We are now launching a contest for the best simulation model built using AnyLogic software. You have a chance to win an iPad Mini with laser engraving and become honored among other modelers by simply uploading your model to www.RunTheModel.com.
The contest starts on May 27 and will last until July 31, 2013. All you need to do to enter is select your best models, which are not already published on RunTheModel.com, and upload them to this website. Then, encourage your friends and colleagues to rate, like, and share them on social networks, and also embed them on their blogs and websites.
The winner will be chosen by AnyLogic team experts from among the highest rated models. So, the more likes and re-posts you get, the higher your chances are of winning!
To take part in the competition, models have to have the following:
- A screenshot or a picture which illustrates the model's functionality.
- A detailed problem description written in English.
- An interface that is easy to understand and operate.
- Visual effects and animation.
- Listing on the website under an appropriate category (Finance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, or Social Dynamics, etc).
A similar contest was held last year and was very successful. It attracted many quality models from various fields. The results can be viewed here.
