In response to changes in industry, there are changes to this year’s AnyLogic Conference. In a way, this mirrors the relationship developing between simulation and machine learning – each benefiting from the input and feedback of each other. Read on for the conference low-down...
You won’t hear any apologies from the AnyLogic developers about needing to learn some code to get the most from AnyLogic simulation modeling. The fact is, a little upfront learning makes model development faster and simpler in the long run. But, if you are new to the software, how to get this training?
AnyLogic hosted its first training of 2019 last week at the AnyLogic North America office in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. Over 20 people attended from companies including Uber, Fannie Mae, St. Onge Company, Astellas, DHL and more. During the three-day course, attendees were led through several hands-on exercises building models utilizing all three methods of modeling techniques, including agent-based, discrete event and system dynamics.
A very well-attended WinterSim Conference in Gothenburg, Sweden, celebrated simulation as a noble cause. Attendees were up on 2017 with over 800 conference goers taking part in the four-day event, and AnyLogic enjoyed its best year yet. Here are a few notes, highlights, photos, and a video.
