Professors, PhD and postdoctoral students from MINES ParisTech, Ecole Centrale, and The Polytechnic University of Milan, gathered at the Center for Research on Risks and Crises (CRC) in Sophia Antipolis, France for a four day Custom Training Course with Ilya Grigoryev, Head of Training at The AnyLogic Company. The engagement focused on the formalization and unification of organizations and companies working towards reducing their vulnerability and increasing their resilience to particularly disrupting and damaging events (major technological accident, accidents at work, industrial diseases, natural and environmental contingencies, project risks, operational risks, etc.).
Ilya lead the participants through structuring a simulation problem, knowing which modeling paradigm to select, building models in each paradigm and finally connecting them into a larger hybrid model. The custom course also covered the theory on simulation modeling specifically for the CRC professors.
The CRC, an interdisciplinary laboratory created in 2008 is currently directed by Frank Guanieri and continues to develop innovative concepts that show the crossroads between human, social and engineering sciences. AnyLogic's 3D animation technology will be utilized for simulation and modeling of industrial process, interruption, evacuation, human behavior at work and performance of organization safety policy. The AnyLogic custom training course allowed the CRC to choose a time, date and location convenient for their team members, and a class agenda that suits the precise needs of the organization.
Independent of project complexity and modeling proficiency, Ilya and the AnyLogic Instructors can educate your analytics team and set them up for success. Find out more about AnyLogic Custom Training Courses at www.anylogic.com.
